this works today, just go to giphy and hit the embed button
i don't think i'd add a native button tbh, the best i might do is for the media button, allowing you to upload to your personal media in the forum page without having to first navigate to the settings page

i can say no to things LOL, dark mode is tricky because people provide custom CSS, and they might not test dark mode / light mode, im kinda the believer in just having an intended look (either light or dark), like i get the coolness of a dark mode its just extra work, and for this sort of website thats meant to be an older web vibe, older web had no dark mode
